Smith's Dance Academy and dancers are involved in various community events.  Here are some examples:

• The school donates free tuitions for children in need
  

• Festival of Trees to help raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters
  

• Miss Woodstock, Miss Carleton North and Miss Hartland Pageants- choreography and instruction of the routines
  

• Curl for Cancer-Nicole Smith participates and donates the ticket sale of a $100 gift certificate to the cause.
  

• Relay for life-Performance
  

• Instruction of  the dance program at various schools.
